Christmas And A Bit of Interactive Fiction

Hi!

The christmas holiday has begun and christmas day has passed by. It didn't feel very real this time, but at least there were snow this year. It was great anyway. First we ate an enormous christmas breakfast, then we spent most of the day preparing the dinner and then we ate. After the dinner we opened our gifts. My aighteenth birthday was the seventeenth and I had gotten a CD-player and a book as a birthday present from my mother. I got a lot of tights and sweaters too. I even got a traveling set of shampoo and other toiletry equipments. It took long before we were home again and then I went to bed. Before I went I told my father that I wouldn't go to my mother tomorrow, but the next day he tried to force me to go there. He threatened me and then he left. I wanted to show responsibility and so I took a taxi to my mother's apartment. It was quite okay although I didn't really like to be there. My father can believe whatever he wants. It makes no difference as long as it doesn't make any change. On satrday I had hoped to get the best day in my life. I had even bought clothes for it, but it was cancelled. The one who held the party became ill, so she couldn't be there. I am very disappointed, but that's things that happens. Oh I forgot to say anything about my christmas stocking that was underneath my very own tree. It was full of candy and soda pop and even a cute little toy santa. Anyway I have been awake all night. I can't sleep and I haven't slept much in days. My friends think it is the stress. Everybody is stressed these days and it's like the stress won't let go untill somewhere in January. Maybe my lack of sleep might be because it hurts everywhere or maybe it's because I have been drinking soda pop. I think it's about three litres plus three cups of coffee. Okay, Ii'm not surprised that I can't sleep. I think it's only tea that's missing and then I have got all the things for not falling asleep. It's a little wiere that all of those things can keep someone awake like this. That's all for now. Merry Christmas!
